Biography

DJ ERROR aka Gerwin van Engelenburg was born 25-12-78 (Veenendaal)
At the age of 15/16 he started to show interest for electronic music and produced music with al kinds of tracking programs. At the end of 1998 he was invited by friends to join them to a underground techno party. He was totally hooked on the techno sound and decided that he also wanted to play that kind of banging, rough tunes and so he bought a set of cheap turntables and started practicing. The cheap turntables were traded in for Technics in the spring of 2000 and after 1/2 year he start sending demo's to organisations. The demo's were another step in his career because of them he got to play at parties like: psychedelic circus, looseclub, mazzo (setoff), teknation, technoLAB, P60, Planet Rose (several times), Effenaar, 2-dance , Tomorrow (hemkade) Patronaat, etc. Beside that he's the proud winner of the 1st planet rose dj contest 2003

He started out to play the hard minimal techno but nowadays he also plays banging house music. Depending on the party, the people and the atmosphere, his style varies from mellow to hard. In the future he likes to play more often and producing his own music.
